Introduction
Dr. Scott Anson, P.E.
Dr. Scott Anson, P.E. is both the Principal Engineer of Anson Engineering, LLC and a tenured university Professor. He combines his 29 + years of engineering experience (including 21+ years of university teaching) to bring technical clarity and understanding to forensic analyses and legal cases. Dr. Anson is an award-winning university professor at LeTourneau University in Longview TX. His industry experience includes 8 years full-time before becoming a professor and he has been active in part-time industry roles during most of his academic career. These roles span process development, design, failure analysis, microelectronics, oil & gas, and consulting engineering. He is active in the National Academy of Forensic Engineers (NAFE).

Dr. Anson accepts engagements from both plaintiff and defense counsel.
Retaining counsel communicates directly with Dr. Anson.
Dr. Anson will maintain clear and direct communication with counsel through every phase of the case including 1) developing the analysis approach, 2) evaluation the case technical strengths and weaknesses, 3) identifying the likely counter-points, and 4) discussion of the technical counters to the likely counter-points.
Dr. Anson has learned blue-collar grit and tenacity from his upbringing and applied it to his educational and profession pursuits, achieving technical distinction in engineering and yet does most of his own vehicle repairs and homestead repairs and improvements. He combines meticulous engineering analysis with hands-on practicality to provide efficient and sensible results.
